James Havener joined the fulltime staff of our church as youth pastor in January of 2006, but Jim has been a member of the church since he was 16 years old, and an attender since birth. Jim attended Gordon College in Wenham MA, and has earned his Bachelors degree in Youth Ministry. Jim was a three-sport athlete in high school, and is well-known in the community. Jim recently married Katie (Murphy) in September 2007 and together have a vibrant Youth ministry. Jim & Katie are responsible for ministry to teens in 6-12th grade.

Rev.
Alan Chamberlin joined the Friendship church as Senior Pastor in July of
2005, moving from a 12 year pastorate in Ashland, ME. Pastor Alan
and his wife, Esther, have two children, Beth and Josh, both college
students. Pastor Alan and Esther have also served
churches in Stratford, CT and Portland, Maine. Pastor Alan enjoys
all kinds of spectator sports, and especially loves playing golf.
